APRI Armenia’s Representative Spoke at the Maharana Pratap Annual Geopolitics Dialogue 2026

APRI Armenia Research Fellow Nvard Chalikyan was a featured speaker at the fifth edition of the Maharana Pratap Annual Geopolitics Dialogue, held in Udaipur, India, on March 13–14, 2026. Organized by the Usanas Foundation, the flagship conference was themed “Chakravyuh to Shanti Parv: From Conflict to Consensus.”

Participating in the panel, “Geoeconomics in Flux: Tariffs, Treaties, Trade Tensions, and Strategic Corridors,” Chalikyan provided a detailed analysis of the shifting security and economic dynamics in the South Caucasus. 

She highlighted that:

  • The ongoing war in Iran and its eventual outcome are poised to significantly impact vital trade routes and infrastructure projects.
  • Future developments will likely alter the trajectory of major corridors such as TRIPP and INSTC, potentially reshaping current regional security arrangements.
  • There is immense untapped potential to boost cooperation in high tech, trade, agriculture, pharmaceuticals, renewable energy, and education to benefit both nations.
