On February 24, APRI Armenia organized an interactive townhall on Türkiye’s policy in the South Caucasus and Armenian-Turkish relations for Armenian students and young leaders. Its main objective was to provide insights into Türkiye’s South Caucasus policy , as well as the current and future prospects for Armenian-Turkish relations.
The event opened with welcoming remarks by Anahide Pilibossian, APRI Armenia Vice President for Strategy and Development. A presentation of APRI Armenia’s report on Türkiye’s South Caucasus policy by Senior Research Fellow Benyamin Poghosyan was followed by a panel discussion moderated by Nvard Chalikyan and with the participation of APRI Armenia researchers Benyamin Poghosyan, Sergei Melkonian, and Shant Arzoumanian.
During the panel, students had the opportunity to ask questions of APRI Armenia’s researchers, resulting in an engaging and interactive discussion.
