APRI Armenia’s Representatives Discuss War in Ukraine at Helsinki Seminar

The Finland National Defence University hosted the Russia Seminar 2025 in Helsinki on February 12–13, focusing on the ongoing war in Ukraine. The event gathered leading experts to explore the implications of Russia’s military policies, strategies, and overall thinking amid the current conflict.

APRI Armenia’s Leonid Nersisyan and Sergei Melkonian contributed to the discussions, sharing their insights on Russia’s evolving military tactics and the broader geopolitical landscape. Sergei Melkonian discussed Russia’s strategy for building alliances since 2022, while Leonid Nersisyan focused on the key lessons learned from Russia’s ground warfare in Ukraine.

The seminar provided an in-depth analysis of Russia’s military approach, with a particular emphasis on the Ukraine war and its long-term consequences for global security.
