APRI Armenia was honored to participate in the Eighth Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions, held on September 17–18 in Astana, Kazakhstan. Representing APRI Armenia, Sergei Melkonian joined more than 100 delegations from around 60 countries to address contemporary global challenges, from conflict resolution to the regulation of modern technologies. During his visit, Sergei held fruitful discussions with leading Kazakh analytical institutions, including the Kazakhstan Institute for Strategic Studies under the President of Kazakhstan, the Foreign Policy Research Institute under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Heartland, and the International Center of Geopolitical Projection “East–West.” The meetings focused on strengthening cooperation between Central Asia and the South Caucasus and exploring new opportunities for Kazakh-Armenian relations. Special attention was given to connectivity and the prospects of unblocking regional communication routes.
